In China, it’s acceptable to wear your pajamas on the street.

Both the mother and her son have on their PJs. This is mid-afternoon! Notice the lady’s high heel black pumps!

Now, hot pink IS my color, but would I walk on the street in my pajamas? No.But notice at least her shoes match the attire — slippers. But that purse doesn’t fit with the ensemble. (he he he he) This is an afternoon shot. It’s NOT early morning or nighttime. And this is one of the busiest streets in my city.

And this lady is returning home after shopping. This one, too, was taken in the afternoon. This in not like running out to get your newspaper off the lawn in the early morning. This is going to the shopping mall at 3 o’clock in the afternoon wearing your pajamas!
As the weather is getting cooler, I’m seeing more and more people outside in PJs. I guess that they are simply warm. Gee, I can relate. It’s hard enough to get out of bed on a cold day much less change into street clothes. Just wear your PJs all day and you’re ready to hop back into bed when the sun goes down at 7:30 PM.
