The Olympics are coming. And they hype is everywhere in China. These cute five creatures are the Beijing Friendlies — the mascots.

DD’s favorite one is Ying Ying, the Tibetan antelope.
Here she is at the park (last summer/fall) painting a ceramic Ying Ying.

We just took a photo with this huge Ying Ying, but of course, we can’t afford it — this one is over $100! Besides, where would be put it?
