These are chicken feet. Chinese people LOVE them!
They are served as an appetizer in many areas of China. They are also purchased as a snack at street side stalls.
Chinese people are thrifty with a capital T. They do NOT waste. The chicken is cooked and eaten from it’s head to it’s little claws.
What is there to EAT on a chicken foot? Yeah, I haven’t quite figured that out myself. It’s more of a sucking than an eating when it comes to chicken feet. I’ve never acquired the taste.

And, yes, I really do enjoy coming up with bizarre things to blog about! But honestly, chicken feet are an everyday thing here, nothing blogworthy to the people around me everyday.
