In China, many people take a noon-time nap. In fact, getting business done from noon to two PM is often difficult. If the office has any workers, they are likely to be cranky and uncooperative. I’ve learned to avoid that time frame altogether.
The tradition of a noon-time nap is the only explanation that I have for all the people you find sleeping on the job or just taking a nap in odd places, right in public.
