Okay, you world savvy blog readers! You are right! We’re in Thailand — Bangkok. Here are some more crazy English pictures for you. It’s not just in China, you know.

Burned Meat anyone? These are actually a tad bit spicy, something like a BBQ flavored cracker. Burned and grilled — big difference! (China)

This sign was for collecting recyclable “bottal” and cans. The spelling made me laugh. (Thailand)

Many Thai people can’t seem to remember what “Ser” and Madam mean. I constantly am called sir! I realize that my name is Jimmie, but I mean to my face I’m called SIR by people how don’t know my name.

True story in Thailand:

Me: “I’m in room 111. Could you please bring some toilet paper?”

Housekeeping staff:  “Yes sir.”

Me:  “And we need one more towel as well.”

Housekeeping staff: “Yes sir.”

Me:  “I’m a woman, not a man. You can say ‘yes ma’am’ instead of ‘yes sir.’ ”

Housekeeping staff: “Yes sir.”

Sprite was asking me why I would take a picture of this. I asked her to read it and tell me how this toy could possibly help a child. She answered, “Teach them to stay clean?”
