I wanted to make deviled eggs for a Christmas gathering, and Hubby was nice enough to pick up eggs for me. My one request was to buy BIG eggs. He brought home some massive eggs, the largest I’ve ever seen in China — definitely JUMBO size.
No wonder. When I cut them open I found that except one of them, they all had double yolks!
They made beautiful, huge deviled eggs. Since then, I’ve paid more attention at the grocery store, and sure enough, there are clearly marked eggs that say “double yolks.”
