		<description>I love your posts about living math and what it really looks like in action. My boys enjoy math, and it comes easily to my oldest. I&#039;m still trying to figure out how much hands-on versus simple explanations to offer. My oldest (who&#039;s 8) gets concepts quickly and seems annoyed by hands-on projects that seem to make things more complicated and take a lot of time. I thought my 2nd son (7) would enjoy that sort of thing more, but then he chose a Saxon workbook with NO visuals at all, just plain old problems to solve! Then again, he&#039;s only chosen to work on it three times in the last month. But he did 100 problems each time!
