Curriculum Choice Homeschool Review BlogI’ve written a special review of Living Math (from Livingmath.net) over at The Curriculum Choice. Instead of reposting it here, I’ll simply direct you over there. (Click the logo.)

We’ve been using Livingmath.net’s curriculum for about 12 weeks now. It’s been a worthwhile change although it has certainly necessitated some adjustments on my part. Go read the rest….

I read your review and I’ve looked at the livingmath.net website. I didn’t buy though. I just keep asking myself if you can actually teach MATH using this method or if your just teaching more history. Not that I don’t think that the history of everything is interesting, but I was very interested in and read books about Newton when I was a kid, but that didn’t mean that I knew a thing about Calculus. I wish that there was a math curriculum that was planned out and comprehensive that was game based.

Thanks for the review! It was great! I like the idea of how it goes along with history. I may have to order that.
Blessings,
Dawn

No, Rhonda, Living Math is not enough. Have you looked at Math on the Level? It’s a games and hands-on based entire curriculum (minus the history).
