I’ll be hosting the Charlotte Mason blog carnival on Sept. 8. We’ve already gotten a lot of junky, unrelated posts like “Best Websites for Homework Help” and “Do You Need to Get Angry Before Anyone Listens?” Blech! (Those won’t make the carnival, needless to say.)
Bring me some Charlotte Mason goodness, ladies! Submit your posts here. Anything related to a CM education is welcome — artist study, nature study, composer study, narration, living books, habit training, living math, mother culture, dictation, Shakespeare, and so on. You’ve got two weeks left.
Hi and welcome! I'm Jimmie and this is my online collage of our Charlotte Mason homeschool. Taking just a little more time to document our learning shortens the learning curve for other busy homeschool moms.
Feel free to browse around my posts and freebies. My aim is to bless each reader with something useful.

Hi Jimmie! I will have to try and get something together for your carnival. I wanted to tell you about this great new product I found at Barnes and Noble, however. Have you heard of the Fandex? I found it while browsing the shelves and I am IN LOVE with this thing. They are available for birds, trees, flowers, etc which are awesome for our nature study. They also have composers and artists. They wouldn’t be enough to create a study, but I think they are excellent supplements. The tops are bright colored pictures and the bottoms and back are full of information. I thought I would share, as you have shared so many wonderful things with us!!!

I don’t think we quite have anything up to the Charlotte Mason standards yet, we’re working our way there.

I think I already sent you something, I’ll check. However if you hadn’t already heard, I am starting a little carnival of my own dedicated to art projects and lessons. I do so hope you’ll take part!

to Julie — Yes, I got your submission! Thanks! Good stuff as always.
to Ticia — even posts that share about how you’re transforming towards a CM homeschool or struggling with adapting to CM are great. So don’t be shy.
to Melissa — I’ve seen the Fandex products online but we don’t own any. Thanks for passing on the recommendation.
Jimmie,
I have submitted my article for the CM blog carnival. Thanks for letting me know about it! I’ve never participated in anything like it!
