Don’t feel sorry for us when I say that we can’t buy Christmas wrapping paper where we live. It’s not a big deal, and it’s an excuse for a very fun craft project.
For several years now, I have bought huge sheets of white paper, which we decorate with Christmas themes. It’s a messy and fun job.
This year, we experimented with paint rollers, something Sprite had never used before.
Be assured that we can buy small sheets of generic wrapping paper in China, but I just can’t tolerate the pink butterflies and fakey Winnie the Pooh with crazy English under my Christmas tree. We adapt to lots of things, living in China. But for Christmas, I insist on red, green, white, and gold wrapping paper.
Now, isn’t that lovely under the tree?

I love it! Very cool paper. I don’t know where I would buy such huge sheets of white paper here though! Is it expensive?

No, not expensive at all. Each sheet is .7 RMB; that’s about 10 cents per piece.
Those are really nice. I love the shot of the wrapped gifts under the tree.
We have Costco now here in Japan, so we can get the jumbo rolls. We’re going on the third year with the same three rolls, though, so something like this seems like it would be a nice change! We do have a huge roll of that white paper. Maybe we’ll give it a try if I can figure out how to keep our little guy from stepping all over it.

I looks great! I love the colors. We mostly use the same bags over and over. I like making our own paper sometimes!

Oh, these look SO nice!!! I think it looks better than store-bought paper. And, I can’t believe you are already so prepared for Christmas! (Well, yes, I can…but I’m a last minute person.)

Very nice! I need to show this to my kids. They have been known to wrap gifts in toilet paper when I didn’t have any wrapping paper in the house.
