Great articles… really helpful… My daughter 9 is a great reader and just picked it up so quickly, and she love to read. where as my boy – well to put it mildly, its been a very slow journey but we plod along at his pace and I have to say I did pick up some good hints.
Anyway – Jonathan Park is our favourite story cd that we listen too… it is just excellent.

Great ideas. One thing I have started doing is going to storylineonline and kideos and selecting a book/video and letting it play. It makes a nice background noise, better than the tv.
