How wonderful!! Another homeschool mother sent me an e-mail about this as we have used BF for two years so far. I sent her reply and said “I wonder if this is Jimmie from China.” Our girls sent flats to China and you sent absolutely lovely pictures. The flats never arrived back in the states but the girls remember the pictures. I also see you all over the place at various lapbooking sites. Thank you soooo much for starting this group. Waiting for approval and looking forward to getting more ideas from all!!! Christina in CA

I too tend to do my own thing and have been using Truthquest History to follow along through American History. We have just started the Civil War and hope to be finished with American History after this year. We will be learning about the human body through Jeannie Fulbright this year but look at BF History of Science for 7th grade before we get into the real heavy hitters of General and Physical Science.

LOL, I am the opposite and really enjoy structure, so we switched to Sonlight. It has been one of our best years. I will enjoy watching your post about BF.

We’re going to be using Winter Promise this year, but like you, I’ve realized I really don’t need that much structure. Sometimes it seems harder to de-structure it enough to suit me! I looked at BF, and just may go with that in the future, but for this year, I’m still excited about WP.

And I do have that BF History of the Horse to do at some point. I just have no idea when.

Hi Jimmie,
Silent lurker here, but now I am going to speak up!
I am going to put in a request too! I was able to speak with Rea at our convention this past weekend and share with her how she has blessed our family by introducing us to some rich beautiful literature. She has such a beautiful spirit.
I have used Early American history for primary grades and now I am looking forward to using the NEW California History guide!
