you wrote that expat book? how big is it? i am learning so many things abouthomeschooling a middle school child and about to be going into high school and then college. could i maybe write a section for your blog about that for some other people who might need it,or just start my own blog and link it to yours?
Our family is preparing to move to Shanghai in August. Other than books and personal items, what would you recommend we bring with us that we can’t get in China?

I’m Chinese in Beijing. I’m thinking about homeschooling my son. I know more and more parents accept homeschooling in China.

Some useful insight here, have you had much experience with the healthcare system so far? I am thinking about moving to China but concerned as my son has very bad Asthma, I came across this which I found interesting;

The school for kids become a big issue. So I am considering homeschooling. Were you able to find other homeschooling mom in the place you stayed in China? How were you able to provide social interaction for kids ?
