A Notebooking Bargain

July 30, 2009 By Jimmie Quick 3 Comments

I just came upon a really good notebooking bargain I wanted to share. Westvon Products has decided to drop the prices of their notebooking products 75% off list price at Currclick. You know that I make our own notebooking pages, but at these prices, I had to buy some sets. The History Scribe resources are so ridiculously cheap that even if I use just a few pages, I feel that I’ve gotten my money’s worth.

The best deals are the combos. Let me save you some time and tell you how to find them. I had loads of individual sets in my wishlist before I realized that I could buy everything I wanted — plus more — and pay less with the bundles.

CurrClick Arrange all the Westvon products by price simply by clicking on the word price at the top of that column. Then go to the last page with the “most expensive ones” and work up from the bottom. I got the Boy Scribe Combo (for $5) and the History Scribe Combo (for $6.25) both for notebooking and the Happy Scribe – Combo #1 – The Bible (for $3.50) for cursive handwriting.

The History Scribe pages are different from many notebooking pages in that there are no images. There is a title with a topic and a short factual blurb. Then half of the page is blank for drawings and the other half is lined for writing. I really like this kind of open-ended style, especially for history.

Yes, the Boy Scribe Combo is a terribly sexist name. It’s full of science, military, and technology related topics, perfectly okay for girls to use too! But Currclick is wonderful. Pay online and download immediately. No waiting. Instant homeschool shopping gratification. Now to start printing out these great pages….
